High-performance children’s pedals for mountain bikes, optimised for ergonomics, weight and size for the next generation of shredders.
To suit every MTB kid, the CONTACT CNC is available in KIDS (shoe size < 36) and JUNIOR (35–41) versions. To ensure a high level of grip whilst minimising the risk of injury, the pedals feature aggressive yet relatively short pins. The pedals’ slim design prevents unwanted contact with the ground, whilst the open construction allows dirt to fall through. In the JUNIOR version, the pedal’s stability is already on a par with an adult pedal, yet at 289g it remains a proven lightweight. When it comes to weight, however, the KIDS version goes one better, as the youngest mountain bikers need only fit a pedal weighing just 193g to their children’s bike.
Both versions feature a high-quality IGUS JSM plain bearing on the inside and two deep-groove ball bearings fitted side by side on the outside. Two double-lip seals are fitted to protect the bearings from dirt and moisture. The bearing and seal unit ensures the pedal is built to last, offering a long service life. Furthermore, the bearings and seals can be replaced in just 5 minutes using the optionally available Refresh Kit, effectively resetting the clock to zero.
