MAXC29 Carbon Kids Mountain Bike
Our new development for the upcoming XC World Cup overall winners! The sportiest and lightest children's mountain bike on the 29er principle from VPACE, for kids from approx. 1.50 m (if necessary also 3-5cm below).
The Carbon racing machine
MAXC is the super-fit brother of MAX and with its carbon frame the new hero on the starting line. If full throttle is all you know and your goal is to win the World Cup overall in 2040, MAXC is your new best friend. The specially developed carbon frame is super-light and converts every ounce of energy into propulsion. The large 29er wheels give the bike stability on downhills and lots of grip on the steepest uphills. As with the original MAX, the geometry is modern and sporty, but the equipment is even lighter and optimised for racers. MAXC is the ultimate race bike for kids.

Was wir bei MAXC, im Vergleich zu den auf dem Markt befindlichen Rahmen, besser machen wollten:
- ein kürzerer Hinterbau macht den Rahmen sehr agil und und die Gewichtsverlagerung auf das Hinterrad wird zum Kinderspiel.
- durch den steileren Sitzwinkel in Kombinationen mit den richtigen Kurbellänge wird ein ergonomisches Kurbeln ermöglicht.
- die verkürzten Oberrohr- und Steuerrohrlängen ermöglichen ein spielerisches Handling des Bikes – so wie es für Kinder sein sollte.
Der Rahmen wird von Beginn an auf kinderfreundliche Komponenten hin ausgelegt, um mit diesen eine sinnvolle Einheit zu bilden:
- Umwerfer sind überflüssig und verkomplizieren den Schaltvorgang, daher einfach-Antrieb mit möglichst großer Bandbreite.
- der Rahmen wurde konsequent für Scheibenbremsen entwickelt – disc only.
The 29er principle
Kids who are put on 20 inch bikes by other manufacturers start out on 24 inch bikes with us and benefit especially from the smoothness and riding stability. Our bikes are more or less a 29er based on 20 - 29 inch wheels. Thanks to the larger wheels, obstacles are better negotiated and the young athlete gains from more riding confidence and also an increase in speed. What's more, it simply looks damn good - just like the big ones!
Range of use
The MAXC children's mountain bike corresponds to a category 3 mountain bike. Bikes in this category can also be used on rough trails, in rough terrain and on difficult routes that require good riding technique. Jumps and drops can occur here up to a maximum height of 61cm. The MAXC 29 children's bike is designed for a rider weight of max. 65kg.
UD-Carbon Finish on MAXC carbon frames
The MAXC carbon frames are produced with UD carbon fibres (unidirectional), which has no visible carbon structure like 3K carbon (honeycomb structure). To give a more technical look to the frame and also to save some weight again, we decided against a black colour top coat - because we love it! As each frame is laminated by hand and is unique, there may be small irregularities in the surface under the clear lacquer. This is definitely not a production defect or a weakening of the material.

Die MAX-Kinderbikes können ab Beginn der Größenempfehlung idR zwei bis drei Jahre gefahren werden und decken ein Größenwachstum von maximal 20 cm ab – nach Anpassung von Sattelstütze und Vorbau.
Geburtstagsüberraschung gelungen
Hallo VPACE Team. Dank Euch ist die Geburtstagsüberraschung gelungen. Ihr habt es geschafft das neue Rad in nur 8 Tagen zu montieren und zu liefern und das Geburtstagskind sehr glücklich zu machen. Am Tag nach dem Geburtstag starteten wir auf eine 4-Tages-Tour, bei der das MAXC gleich eingefahren wurde, alles funktionierte einwandfrei. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Service, Viele Grüße! Sven
