The FRED275 kids downhill bike fits riders taller than approx. 1.55 m, offers 180 mm travel and rides on 27.5" wheels front and rear.
FRED is a bike for kids designed from the ground up for downhill use. The geometry with the 63er steering angle, low bottom bracket and the plushe but still jumpfreudige rear end with kinematics specially developed for low body weights appeals to young racers in the Junior DH series such as the IXS Rookies Cup and Bikepark Shredder.
As usual with VPACE, attention was also paid to the weight. The FRED275 weighs approx. 14 kg - and that with Bomb Proof full equipment. The progressive geometry, the well thought-out equipment and the special kinematics make the FRED definitely unique.
FRED – made for SHRED!
What FRED can do

Range of use
The FRED275 Kids Downhill Bike corresponds to a mountain bike of category 5. Bikes in this category should be checked intensively for possible damage after every ride due to the higher loads.
